Meet Keliz White

Aloha,

My name is Keliz White, I am 23 years old, and I am honored to be your 2024 Miss Bikini Hawai’i model.

I set out on the journey for Miss Bikini Hawai’i to reclaim the confidence I lost to different life struggles that tried to steal my light. It was truly a life changing process that became bigger than what some may think to be, “just another beauty pageant”. Through this experience I learned to acknowledge and heal from past traumas, find my voice, and embrace my true beauty once again!

I started as a beginner. Despite having no experience, I took a chance on myself and decided to step boldly out into this journey, for which I am so grateful. I had the pleasure of working alongside beautiful, powerful, and inspirational women, becoming more involved with the local community of Hawai’i, networking with local businesses, opening doors to opportunities within the pageant and modeling careers, finding my inner beauty again, and so much more!

As a woman with a diverse background who is culturally and ethnically mixed, has experienced a variety of hardships, but found ways to over come them, is a career woman in the military, and also pursuing her creative dreams and passions, I want to share my experiences and use them to help build others up.

During my reign I will continue working within the community of Hawai’i, especially to be an advocate for Mental Health. I will work with different organizations to foster a community of strong minded individuals. Having had a personal experience with the loss of a loved one to suicide, I am incredibly passionate about helping those around me feel supported and learn to build their mental resiliency in a safe space.

I am excited to build up a community that brings people together and continues to grow the confidence, light, and true beauty that is within them!

Mahalo for choosing me as your Queen.

Let’s glow together!

Meet Amber Durante

Aloha Mai Kākou,

My name is Amber Durante, and I am your Miss Bikini Hawaii Fitness 2024. I am originally from the East side of Oahu, but I now reside on Hawai’i Island. Since moving to the Big Island, I’ve joined the Malama Pono Kohala Committee which focuses on fighting against Domestic Violence and securing future funding for resources to help aid the northern region of Hawai’i Island. My hobbies and passions have always been with my involvement in the community. I was heavily involved in our efforts to help bring a little Aloha back to our Lahaina ‘Ohana however, since I moved, I had to take a step back for a bit. I coordinated a donation drive for Lahaina on the windward side of Oahu. I also had the privilege to deliver supplies by convoy and boat to remote locations that had minimal road access. We’ve managed to have ‘Ukuleles donated to the youth as well as countless pounds of food and water to the local residents on the west coast of Maui.

I feel extremely close and tied to our ‘Ohana out there because I used to live and work in Lahaina when I was younger. I was a Luau Dancer at the Royal Lahaina Resort Luau, and my oldest son still lives in Lahaina as well. By the grace of God, my son and his family are safe, but I’ll never forget how I felt on August 9, Wednesday morning. I was living on Oahu at the time and the phone lines in Lahaina were down. As a parent, our main duty is to protect our keiki and in that moment I felt like I failed. So, I flew to Maui immediately and went to two shelters before finding my son. Once I found him and held him in my arms, we collectively as a family jumped in to help. From then, I dove headfirst in assisting our Lahaina Ohana as much as I could for the following months until I moved to Hawai’i Island in October. I was mentally exhausted and started falling into my own depression- feeling guilty because I was able to find my family while others had lost theirs and hearing everyone’s stories was finally catching up to me. Now that I’ve acclimated myself to my new home, I’m eager and ready to get back to it. I’ve met with a few organizations that are doing the good work in Maui and I’m planning on working in Lahaina one to two weekends a month for at least the rest of 2024.

The Miss Bikini Hawaii Pageant has been an experience of a lifetime. This pageant has helped me grow in my confidence and really solidified my purpose of being a vessel to help showcase our local businesses, organizations and communities. I’ve gained a sisterhood that I’ve always dreamt of, and I found a new aspiration of inspiring our youth to be unapologetically themselves especially during this day and age where a lot of our younger generation is struggling with self-identity. My hope is to inspire as many people as possible to get involved in their community during my season of reign. My plans for the future are to utilize my title holder platform to bring awareness, education and preventative methods against Domestic Violence, heal and support families affected by Substance Abuse and to provide additional resources that tend to our Mental Health. This may sound like a full plate, but I believe with the right resources and partnerships, these goals are attainable.

Mahalo for getting to know me and I’m so happy you’re here.

Congratulations to all the extraordinary women who competed, all our 2024 Titleholders and Thank you to our community that supports us all.
